I learned that men and women use the solar cooker because it gives them more time and allows them to do more things. I also learned that using wood to cook is a waste and it only lasts for a day. Having a solar cooker is super important. -Emma-
I learned that men and women in Africa love to use solar devices to cook food.I also learned that there are multiple solar devices instead of just one. The last thing I learned about was that when they take out the food they put it in baskets to keep it warm.
What I learned in this video is that women in Africa spent 3-4 hours collecting firewood to be used for solar cooking. Solar cooking isn't just used in Africa, it is used in multiple parts of the world. Men in Africa love solar cookers because it allows them to make their own hot tea while their wives make the walls. Some of Africa's traditional foods can't be made in some of the solar cookers that Africa uses. -Chloe-
